Rob has led the design of multiple wayfinding systems across cities, offices, transit networks, shopping centres, parks and university campuses. His role involves the realisation of wayfinding strategy in the design of effective signage, mapping and digital applications.
Through his background in information design and his experience at Applied, Rob has an acute understanding of how users interact with signage and mapping to navigate environments. Using an interative method based on prototyping and user testing, Rob is able to design solutions that are easy to use, accessible and inclusive. This is complemented by a strong understanding of current technology, materials and production techniques involved in the design of contemporary wayfinding applications.
